The exhibition THE FOLIAGE V – THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE is organized by the VinFuture Foundation and the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) to honor scientific achievements and creative applications that contribute to sustainable development and the future of humanity. This special art event is part of 2025 VinFuture Sci-Tech Week, marking the 5th anniversary of the VinFuture Prize as well as five seasons of VCCA’s THE FOLIAGE exhibitions.
Phạm Minh Hiếu presents The Laboratory for Experimental (Meta)physics series with the work Afterwards. In this piece, neon tubes —shaped according to the handwriting in Tô Giang’s Advanced Training for Gifted High School Students: Mechanics 3—become “conceptual sculptures,” a site where physical form converges with abstract thought. This laboratory of the metaphysical interweaves personal history with collective memory, inviting viewers into a space of contemplation, where time is felt, and the interplay between the past and what comes afterwards is experienced.
