Linh San
Linh San is a multidisciplinary artist working across poetry, moving image and ceramics. Holding a bachelor's degree in Literature from the Hanoi National University of Education (2020), she explores the relationship between the poetic and the everyday, attending to moments of quiet observation, memory and lived experience. Her works often emerge through processes of translation across language, material and image, reflecting an interest in how meaning shifts through different forms of expression.
Linh San has presented solo exhibitions including While the soil slumbers (A. Farm Studios at Tree House, Ho Chi Minh City, 2024) and no longer holding a cloud (#SoloMarathon2022, Á Space, Hanoi, 2022). Her moving image works have been screened at the Goethe-Institut Hanoi, Hanoi DocLab, and the National Museum of Indonesia as part of Jakarta Biennale. Her poetry has appeared in publications including The Margins, Poetry Translation Centre, AJAR Press and the Asian American Writers' Workshop. In 2023, she received the Prince Claus Seed Award.
