A Farmer's Diary

Phan Quang

Phan Quang’s A Farmer’s Diary is a photography project initiated in 2009 that reflects on the shifting boundaries between rural and urban life in contemporary Vietnam. Drawing from personal memories and constructed narratives, the series weaves together images of countryside and cityscape, oscillating between dreamlike scenes and lived reality.

Born into a farming community in Binh Dinh and now based in Ho Chi Minh City, the artist’s practice reflects the rapid social and economic transformations shaping Vietnam today.

This catalogue accompanies Phan Quang: A Farmer’s Diary, presented as part of Galerie Quynh’s Emerging Artist Program.
