Sue Hadju
Artistically active in Vietnam since the mid-1990s, Sue Hajdu’s multidisciplinary practice spans visual art, curation, photography, writing and translation. In 2005, she co-founded a little blah blah (albb), a pioneering artist initiative that fostered experimental projects, exhibitions, events and archival activities in Ho Chi Minh City.
 
This publication documents MAGMA | we’re not counting sheep, a 2006 installation and performance project presented at Galerie Quynh, where visitors and passersby could observe performers sleeping each night within a theatrical red room visible from the gallery’s street window.
 
Featuring photographs by Ngo Dinh Truc and an essay by curator and writer Motoko Uda.
Published jointly by Galerie Quynh and a little blah blah on the occasion of MAGMA | we’re not counting sheep, presented from August 26 to September 7, 2006, at Galerie Quynh, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
