Internationally known for her career in cinema, Tran Nu YenKhe has quietly maintained a visual art practice for over three decades. Her abstract and poetic works explore the interplay of light, shadow, form and material through subtle and meditative compositions.
Presented by Galerie Quynh in 2023, WHITE BLANK marks the artist’s first solo exhibition in Vietnam, featuring recent sculptures, paintings and works on paper created in Paris and Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibition catalogue includes Subtle Polarities, an essay by painter and writer Joe Fyfe, reflecting on Tran Nu YenKhe’s intertwined practices in film and visual art.
