Ngo Dinh Bao Chau participated in Bulldog Video Blog, a one-night international video art invitational organized by april april and presented at The Bulldog Pub in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Bringing together galleries and artist-run spaces from across Asia, Europe, and North America, the programme explored moving image practices within an informal public setting, where contemporary video works were screened throughout the evening across multiple monitors integrated into the pub environment.
Presented by Galerie Quynh, Chau’s video installation a burn was included alongside works by artists presented by Chris Andrews, LC Queisser, Petra Bibeau, ROMANCE, Tatsuro Kishimoto, u’s, and Veronica.
Originally invited by Lucas Regazzi and Patrick Bova of april april, the event formed part of an ongoing initiative fostering international dialogue and experimental approaches to exhibiting video art outside conventional institutional settings.
