We are delighted to share that Vy Trinh has been selected as one of 23 international participants in the Arts Intensive Study Program (AISP) at the Fire Station in Doha, Qatar — one of the most prestigious emerging-artist residencies in the region.
Born in 1996 in Ho Chi Minh City and now based in the United States, Trinh works primarily in sculpture and site-responsive installation. Her practice examines socioeconomic structures, urban environments, and the networks of objects that shape everyday life — often drawing on materials sourced directly from cities themselves.
Running through 2025–2026, the AISP provides selected artists with dedicated studio space, mentorship, and a platform for sustained artistic development, culminating in a group exhibition. The Fire Station is a flagship venue for contemporary art under Qatar Museums, and a cornerstone institution for supporting artists across the Gulf region and beyond.
