Pham Minh Hieu is participating in Youth Palace, a group exhibition at the Rockbund Art Museum, Shanghai, alongside artists Van Do, Le Thuan Uyen, Do Van Hoang, Nguyen Tran Nam, and Nguyen Huy An.
Curated by X Zhu-Nowell, the exhibition transforms the museum into a contemporary "Youth Palace," drawing inspiration from socialist-era educational institutions that fostered collective learning, creativity, and experimentation. Bringing together a generation of contemporary Vietnamese artists, Youth Palace explores youth not as a biological category, but as a condition of becoming—one shaped by social transformation, collective memory, and the ongoing reimagining of cultural and political futures.
